Fortis are working with a client in the construction industry to recruit a site supervisor to schedule, co-ordinate and supervise the work of all site operatives. The site supervisor will ensure that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget whilst managing equipment and materials.

We are looking for 2 site supervisors and my client has various sites in Hampshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and North & West London.

Responsibilities

* Schedule, coordinate and supervise daily activities of gangs / site operatives

* Conduct risk assessments and deliver toolbox talks / site briefings

* Make sure all staff have relevant training

* Ensure completion of work on time and on budget

* Make sure all documentation is done

This is not working for a main contractor so having experience with a mid-size company would be beneficial. The site supervisor will need experience in groundworks and have great communication skills. You will need proven experience managing subcontractors and have some formal supervisor qualification.

This is a permanent position and comes with a company vehicle and fuel card.

The pay is £270 - 300 / day which is up to £78k.
