My client is an independent Town Planning and Development consultancy who specialise in a range of services across business, industrial & logistics, education, residential, leisure and retail. They are now on the lookout for an enthusiastic Assistant Town Planner to join the team.

About the Role as an Assistant Town Planner:

My client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Town Planner to join the dynamic planning team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career in town planning, working on a diverse range of projects and gaining valuable experience in the planning sector.

Key Responsibilities for an Assistant Town Planner

Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
Conducting research and site appraisals to support planning proposals.
Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
Assisting in the preparation of planning policy documents and reports.Essential Criteria for an Assistant Town Planner

A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field (ideally RTPI accredited)
Previous experience in a planning role, either through work placement or employment.
Understanding of UK planning legislation and policy framework.
Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
