• Work alongside the lead architect to guide common architecture.
• Work closely with stakeholders including software engineering teams, operations, product teams and senior stakeholders.
• Liaise with stakeholders, collaborating on architecture and design in the Cloud and SaaS space.
• Recommend and present suitable, high-performance solutions targeting Azure
• Define and document system architectures 
• Conduct PoC’s using the latest technologies and present the findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

The Requirements: Essential:

• Strong experience architecting cloud-based SaaS infrastructure solutions, especially in Azure. AWS is also highly regarded
• Experience with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi desirable but not essential)
• Experience with Security best practices
• Experience in Kubernetes, docker and microservice development / deployment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document architecture decisions
• Experience developing high-performance, scalable, and extensible infrastructure solutions
• Experience of DevOps and automated processes to continuously deliver SaaS products on a regular cadence
• Ability to carry out quick POCs on latest technology and to present the findings to different audiences.

Desirable:

• Software engineering skills as a full stack .NET Engineer, using C#, Angular, and other JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with Ingress Solutions such as CloudFlare, Azure Front Door, Azure API Management
• Experience with IAM, Authentication / Authorisation
• Degree-educated in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent industry experience
