Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (Basic salary depending on experience) + Car Allowance + Industry-Leading Commission

Key Responsibilities as a Fleet Business Development Executive:

Business Development & Sales:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the fleet van customer base.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and conducting market research.
Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to meet specific client needs and increase sales.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns that attract new business.Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to drive repeat business.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the customer journey.
Hold regular client meetings to assess fleet performance and discuss future requirements.Product Knowledge & Consultation:

Stay informed on the latest van models, fleet management solutions, and industry developments.
Provide consultative selling by advising clients on the most suitable fleet solutions for their operational needs.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive excellent after-sales support and service.Negotiation & Deal Closing:

Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to meet both client and company objectives.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.Market Research & Analysis:

Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, the competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
Monitor customer feedback and sales data to refine business development strategies and stay ahead of the competition.Reporting & KPIs:

Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and progress updates for management review.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.Experience:

Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the automotive or fleet van sector.
A solid understanding of fleet management, leasing, and commercial vehicle requirements.
Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.Knowledge:

Familiarity with the fleet van and commercial vehicle industry.
Knowledge of financing options, leasing models, and operational cost analysis for fleet clients.Preferred Qualifications for the Fleet Business Development Executive role:

Experience managing large fleet accounts.
Knowledge of fleet management technology and telematics.
