A well-established and reputable civil contractor is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their dynamic team based in West Dublin. This crucial role will involve overseeing health, safety, and environmental management on-site, ensuring full compliance with legislation, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safe working practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management, with proven experience in delivering safety training, conducting audits, and managing safety on civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety procedures on-site.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Manage safety audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Deliver health and safety training programs and promote a safety-first culture.
- Liaise with external regulators and inspectors as required to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years' experience in health and safety management within the civil construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
