Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
On an exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Part Time Group Financial Controller to work with a growing SME business based in Hartlebury.
The role is split over 10 days a month and these days/ hours can be split to suit you within reason with a mix of in office and home working.
Reporting into the Board, duties will include:

Application of accounts processes on Sage 300 Accounting system

Preparation of monthly management accounts, Quarterly Board reports and Budgets/Forecasts as required

Preparation and processing of monthly payroll to Sage Payroll

Updating monthly cash flow reports and managing cash on a daily basis.

Oversight of the Purchase Ledger, weekly supplier payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations.

Oversight of the Sales Ledger and credit control.

Management of Confidential Invoice Discounting and where required performing reconciliations to the ledger.

Liaising with customers and suppliers as required.

Preparation of specified reports, forecasts and ad-hoc information for the Managing Director and the Board as required.
Skills, Requirements, Qualifications

Experience using MS Office, including a high-level of proficiency using Excel

Must embrace change and be willing to adopt new skills to support all areas of the business.

Ability to understand and integrate within the culture of a small highly sales focussed business with international operations.

Willingness to understand the business, and its people, and adopt an accounting approach to suit

Knowledge of cloud-based SAGE commercial software application

People focussed person and relationship driven

Experience in a commercial environment
