A large, national Main Contractor currently have an opening for a Temporary Works Manager to work on a new, multi million £ major project in Glasgow. This is working on one of Glasgow's most prominent projects in recent years.

This is a unique chance to join the team early on in the development and play an instrumental part in the overall success.

What you'll be doing:

* Ensure that all temporary works are delivered safely and in adherence to BS5975

* Manage and oversee the coordination of temporary works, ensuring design requirements meet project specifications.

* Develop temporary works procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.

* Review and approve temporary works designs and solutions, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations.

* Act as the primary point of contact for temporary works coordination on-site, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with relevant standards.

* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor the implementation of temporary works.

* Ensure all temporary works activities are documented and recorded, keeping up-to-date records for future reference.

* Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental considerations in all aspects of temporary works management.

What you'll need to be successful:

* Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

* Proven experience in managing temporary works on major , high value Civil Engineering or Construction projects

* Thorough understanding of the relevant temporary works codes, standards, and regulations.

* Can demonstrate experience of overseeing a broad range of reinforced concrete, formwork and falsework Temporary Works
