About the Role
My client is seeking a talented and motivated Building Management Systems (BMS) Optimisation Engineer to join their innovative Engineering division. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering impactful BMS optimisation and maintenance services across multiple sectors, including commercial real estate, retail, hospitality, and pharmaceuticals.
Utilising cutting-edge IoT and analytics platforms, you’ll help drive energy efficiency and system performance, delivering both planned and reactive solutions using Trend, Cylon, and Tridium systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver BMS optimisation and integration projects that drive real-world energy and operational savings.
- Develop and deploy BMS strategies for enhanced performance.
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance and rapid response for BMS systems.
- Identify and resolve BMS software and hardware issues, from software configuration to HVAC plant level.
- Liaise with clients, internal teams, and third parties to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, focusing on service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support the installation and commissioning of BMS systems.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members to promote technical growth within the team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and standards.
- Contribute to the business through training, development and sharing best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in the maintenance and optimisation of BMS systems.
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualification (HNC/ONC or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with Trend systems; experience with Tridium, Cylon, or Delta highly desirable.
- ECS/CSCS Gold Card holder.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours
- Standard: 37.5 hours per week.
- On-call work required as per company rota (additional payment provided).
