Production Manager - Key Responsibilities

Accountable for Leading HSE compliance, including overall area specific Zero Harm Boards and Risk Reduction activities.
Accountable for Zero Defects Programs, including process control, standard work and reduced variation for plant.
Accountable for leading, motivating and engaging with Production Shift Managers, Production Team Leaders & Production Operators through effective communication e.g., engagement, team briefings, regular interaction on the shop floor, involvement in Zero Harm and Zero Defects teams.
Will lead the team in developing and implementing effective systems for improving internal and external quality, cost improvements and on-time delivery to the customer requirements.
Is responsible for managing the performance of direct reports and other team members to include annual appraisal, performance management and identifying development opportunities.
Will work with Human Resources on people management issues including disciplinaries, grievances and performance related issues.

Possess a strong background in a heavy manufacturing.

Experienced in owning and delivering continuous improvement projects 
Possess experience managing budgets
