Role: Finance Director Location: CoventrySalary: £40,000-£60,000 (DOE)We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Director to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding organisation. This full-time permanent position offers a unique opportunity to lead the finance function and contribute to the success of the business.Requirements:-You should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong background in professional services. Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.-You must be able to establish credibility quickly and effectively communicate with our partners, fee earners, and business service teams. ----Strong collaboration and constructive challenge skills are essential.-Previous experience as a Finance Director or Head of Finance is preferred.Key Responsibilities:-As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will work closely with our senior leaders to develop and execute the firm's business plan, providing expert guidance on commercial finance matters.-You will implement and maintain operational excellence across all finance and accounts processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.-You will serve as the Firm's Compliance Office for Finance and Administration, maintaining a deep understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.-You will be responsible for maintaining records of compliance and regulatory breaches, reporting them promptly to the Senior Leadership Team.-You will be a key decision-maker in relation to reporting duties.-You will lead the development of the finance strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate.-You will provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.-You will manage cash flow by monitoring expenditure, supervising billing and credit control, working capital control, and all bank facilities.-You will be responsible for managing the renewal process of Practising Certificates and assisting with the renewal of Profession Indemnity Insurance.-You will improve and automate our financial systems and processes to ensure they are efficient, robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.What We're Looking For:-A strategic thinker with the ability to roll up their sleeves when needed-Strong communication and collaboration skills-Ability to lead and manage a team of 3 reportees-Experience in liaising with banks and third-party funders.How to apply:If you are interested, please get in touch with Rory Brand from Simpson Judge today for a highly confidential chat.
