Project Quantity Surveyor - Office Fit Out (City of London)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus travel

We are currently working with a leading large main contractor in the construction industry, who are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a prestigious office fit-out project in the heart of the City of London.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing and overseeing the commercial aspects of a large office fit-out package.

* Preparing accurate cost estimates and ensuring the project remains within budget.

* Handling procurement, including subcontractor tendering and managing contracts.

* Monitoring project progress, managing variations, and preparing cost reports.

* Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

* Collaborating with project managers, clients, and the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery.

* Conducting site visits and managing site-based commercial functions.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a focus on office fit-out projects.

* Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement.

* Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office.

* A degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (RICS or equivalent is a plus).

* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
