Assistant Buyer / Buyer - Residential Housebuilding?? Location: Rugby, Warwickshire (Office-based with site visits)?? Salary:

• Assistant Buyer: £28,000 - £32,000

• Buyer: £35,000 - £45,000(Depending on experience)

I’m working alongside a respected residential property developer in Rugby, Warwickshire, to help them strengthen their procurement team with the addition of either an Assistant Buyer or Buyer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing housebuilder delivering quality housing developments across the Midlands.

You’ll play a hands-on role in sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, supporting live sites, and working closely with internal commercial and construction teams.

? The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years’ experience with a residential housebuilder

• Experience using COINS software (or similar)

• Solid understanding of construction materials, contractors, and suppliers

• Willingness to visit sites and liaise with site managers

• Experience working with a PLC developer is highly desirable

?? Responsibilities include:

• Procuring building materials and services

• Negotiating prices and issuing purchase orders

• Managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors

• Working closely with the construction team to align procurement with build schedules

• Attending sites as required
