What You'll Be Doing:

Working closely with the Plant Manager, you'll take ownership of daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing raw material orders and stock levels

Overseeing shift handovers and task completion

*

Supporting transport planning and coordinating with Head Office

*

Scheduling shifts and managing holiday cover

*

Enforcing Health & Safety protocols across the site

*

Addressing driver-related issues (tachographs, hours, regulations)

*

Leading and supervising plant operatives in their daily duties

What We're Looking For:

Previous supervisory experience in a plant, warehouse, or manufacturing setting

Exceptional time and task management skills

A confident communicator with strong problem-solving abilities

Solid understanding of Health & Safety standards and compliance

Experience with transport logistics and driver management

A motivational leadership style with a keen eye for detail

*

Flexibility to provide weekend emergency support if required

A full UK driving license
