Robert Davies Machinery Ltd is a friendly, family-run business with a loyal customer base specialising in new and used machinery. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and product support. Due to continued expansion a role has become available in our workshop.

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician, with a passion for after-sales care of machinery. We are looking for someone ideally with significant experience to carry out diagnostics, service, and repair work on our full range of Manitou Agricultural and compact equipment including telehandlers, articulated loaders and skid steers.

You will be working alongside our experienced service technicians and reporting to our service manager to support the large customer base of Robert Davies Machinery.

Working hours 8:00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday. Part-time may be available dependent on experience (minimum 3 days per week)
Saturday working on a rota basis
Up to 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) depending on length of service
Base Salary from £25,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience
Overtime opportunities at time and a half. Double time on Sundays/Bank Holidays

Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural or plant equipment in a workshop and/or field environment
Completes all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high quality (job cards, time sheets)
Follows all safety rules and regulations
Maintains a clean work environment, assists with overall workshop organisation, ensures correct use of tools and vehicles at all times
Candidate RequirementsCandidates Requirements

Knowledge and experience of a variety of machinery ideally in the agricultural, commercial vehicle or construction industry. Ideally have a relevant qualification within the field of Land Based Engineering
Ability to interact with customers and develop/build a relationship that ultimately delivers a positively satisfying experience
Ability to deliver appropriate communication both internally and externally to allow planning and continued work to be effectively completed
Ability to set timescales to own tasks to enable completion of duties and to ensure all tasks are carried out within a timely manner whilst not compromising safety
Present a professional image at all timesMust carry a full driving licence
