Spirehouse are currently recruiting for a Senior Housing Support Worker on behalf of Charitable Housing Association within Warwickshire.

The Opportunity:

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity to join a charitable housing association within Warwickshire. You will be involved in managing a small team within the organisation, whilst also managing a caseload. The primary focus, will be in supporting those either at risk or facing homelessness.

Duties:

* In consultation with the Operations Lead, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day co-ordination of the Warwick service and deputise for the Operations Lead during periods of absence

* Carry and Manage an agreed caseload

* Ensure voids are reported in a timely manner and re-let within agreed timescales, delivering that information to the organisations weekly Occupancy Meeting

* Ensure an effective process for the management of customer wait list for accommodation is deployed

* Develop and implement individual Support Plans and carry out regular reviews of those plans

* Ensure residents are informed and, where necessary assisted, to access appropriate welfare benefits, health, welfare and other support service participating in a multi-agency approach as necessary

* Ensure staff have sufficient training and skills to suitably engage residents and, where necessary, support access to appropriate welfare benefits, health, welfare and other support services, participating in a multi-agency approach as necessary

* Take responsibility day to day management of the organisations financial process that ensures accommodation charges are paid by residents and income is maximise

Further information:

* 37.5 hours per working week

* Monday - Friday

* Immediate start

* 3 month temporary - permanent

* £17.70 per hour via Umbrella - £27,251 per Annum

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Senior Housing Support Worker is essential

* Experience in managing a small team

* Enhanced DBS

* Full UK drivers licence and access to a vehicle
