The School and Role

Do you enjoy taking planned lessons and making them your own.
Do you have a keen interest of teaching core subjects such as; Maths, English and Science.
One of my schools as part of a trust is seeking an Intervention Teaching Assistant/Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work 8:30- 3:30pm each day supporting a pupils to learn in an engaging classroom environment. The work will involved picking planned lessons and supporting children in the absence of their teacher.

You will be working in the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 department developing a routine, supporting their behaviour for learning, developing communication and language skills and how to explore feelings in a positive manner.

Requirements:

The requested skillset the desired Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2 2 (Year 1 or Year 6) Higher Level Teaching Assistant role you will require;

Distribute and adapt sessions.
Knowledge and ability to teach children from planned resources.
Able to work on your own initiative and bring plenty of ideas to support KS1 and/or KS2 children.
Communicate your own ideas of how to deliver your favourite and interesting topics.
Develop materials that will cater to the individual needs of children whilst aiming high for all children.
Positive and resilient role model for children, parents and the local community.
