We are currently recruiting for a Transport and Consumer Service Co-ordinator for our well established client based in Colsterworth.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5pm

Salary: up to £30,000 DOE

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and a strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

This is a demanding role where you will be expected to liaise with various departments within the organisation, including senior management to provide updates on progress, you will also be liaising with 3rd Party Hauliers and feedback any issues.

You will have ideally worked in a similar role or be familiar with the agricultural/farming sector or have previous transport experience. You'll have excellent time keeping skills, have a pro-active approach to learning, development & continuous improvement. You'll also be expected to promote the business values and objectives which are:

• Haulage allocation
• Carrier relations
• Contract maintenance
• Consumer bookings
• Claims
• Movement of sales
• Haulage rates
• Bulk tipper market

Who are we looking for:

• Preferred previous experience in a similar Transport/Logistics/Customer Service administrative role is preferred.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to problem solve and suggest effective resolutions.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• A self-starter, possessing good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Professional telephone manner and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a time pressured environment.
• Have a great attention to detail and accuracy.
