Internal Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Engineer

My client is leading supplier of high-quality piping systems in the UK & Ireland for over 30 years, representing several of the world's leading pipe systems manufacturers.

I am seeking a Internal Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Engineer to join their sales team. This role involves developing sales of pipe, fittings and valves across various industrial sectors.

The Role

Engage in proactive sales activities to develop new sales opportunities through inbound calls and leads.
Communicate with customers to understand their needs.
Produce quotations and tenders.
Identify opportunities to upsell products and services to existing and new customers.
Work closely with the Business Development (BDM) team to route qualified opportunities for further development.You

Proven experience in technical selling, ideally within a similar field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with proactive sales work and a confident telephone manner.
Technical knowledge and expertise in pipe fittings, valves, and related products (training will be provided).Benefits
