Job Title: Bank Hospital Driver
Location: Sturdee Community Hospital Runcorn Rd, Leicester LE2 9FS
Rate Of Pay: £11.44 per hour

Information about the Role:
Main duties of the role:-
Ensure that the clients’ interests are paramount whilst they are present and
respond in a polite and professional manner at all times to their requests.
Ensure the safety of the clients at all times by working with the Activity Coordinator and assisting clients safely on and off the minibus. Furthermore, safely secure clients during the minibus/car/van trip.
In the event that no trips are planned, be prepared to be available during working hours to transfer residents to hospital, dental appointments etc.
Ensure the minibus/car/van is well maintained, kept clean at all times and report any faults to the Registered Manager.
The minibus/car/van should be checked prior to each trip to ensure it is in a safe working order.
Report any accidents or incidents to the Activity Co-ordinator and Registered Manager.
Be familiar with health and safety legislation regarding the use and loading of minibuses/cars/vans.
Complete mileage logbook sheets indicating the distances and other details of trips.
Maintain an awareness of the Health and Safety requirements.
Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times
Continual Personal Development to develop oneself and the role.
In addition to these tasks, employees may at times be asked to carry out other reasonable duties as required by the service.
Personal Specification:-
- Valid license must have D1 on the license
- Drive in a careful and courteous manner
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Pleasant, outgoing and approachable
- Knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable adults an advantage
