HGV Class 1 Flatbed driver required for a position with our well-established client in Walton-le-Dale. The role is a Monday to Friday position. The start time will be 06:00am and will usually be between 10-12 hours per day. You will recicve a small induction at the start of your shift to go through expected company requirments etc.

Job role will include:

* Up to 6 drops

* Delivery of steel

* 10-12 hour shifts - 45-50 hours per week

* Ensuring goods are safely secured using ratchet and chain straps

* Making all deliveries with care and attention

* Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs

* Completing delivery paperwork

The Candidate:

* A valid full category cat C+E licence

* Confident with ratchet or chain strapping

* Experience preferred - minimum 3 months class 1 driving

* Demonstrate excellent communication skills

* Work well with others as part of a team

* Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail

* Must have a current CPC and Digi card

* No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences)
