Key Responsibilities:

Manage the school's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for review by senior leadership.

*

Work closely with the Headteacher, Board of Governors, and other stakeholders to provide financial guidance.

*

Monitor and control school expenditures, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Ensure financial policies and procedures are effectively implemented and updated.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in financial management, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of school funding and financial regulations is an advantage
