Company Overview: Class People are an independently run, family business specialising in the education sector. Class People was established over 20 years ago by our CEO who at the time was a supply teacher herself who wanted to create a better, more personalised service for client and candidate.

Role Overview: We are looking for Primary School Teachers to join our team of supply teachers in Swindon. Ideally you will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in education and the ability to engage with a diverse range of students learning styles.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering interactive and engaging lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Teach following the curriculum and lesson plans provided by the school.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
  • Engage learners with both classroom and out of classroom activites.
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive environment amongst the students.
  • Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of the students.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

What you will need to be a part of the Class People team:

  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A valid right to work in the UK
  • Strong classroom leadership and management skills
  • Previous experience in a similar education setting preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
