Pursuit Group are on the lookout for an experienced Executive Assistant / Business Support / Team Lead professional to join their client's team, located in Colchester.

This role is not a traditional EA position, however would suit someone who is looking for a role that utilises all their skills and experience in supporting a busy team. This role will oversee all daily operations of the clients team across their sites.

Our client is looking for someone with a financial services background background (accountancy, insurance of financial services) and who has excellent planning and organisational skills.

Overview of Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the operations of a Business Support Team. This involves workload management and delegation of tasks.
  • Compliant with all aspects of financial processes. Adherance of reserving process within given authority.
  • Working alongside the team in meeting the day-to-day demands.
  • Assist the project and/or functional population to optimise efficiency throughout the business.
  • Develop to become the knowledge point of contact within the function. These tasks may be varied and ad-hoc in scope.
  • Ensure the staff resource management system is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensuring that all administrative processes are efficient and meet the correct standard of the business.

Background & Skill:

  • 3 + years experience within a similar position.
  • Experience within the financial services industry is essential
  • Self-motivated and result-orientated
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail Convey a professional attitude when dealing with business partners and clients
  • Competent with MS Office Packages.
  • Strong communication skills.
