Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities of the Design Engineer include:

* Produce detailed 3D models, technical drawings and assemblies using CAD software.

* Develop and refine designs to meet engineering and manufacturing requirements.

* Work closely with production and R&D teams to optimise product development.

* Conduct design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

* Generate technical documentation and maintain accurate design records.

* Support prototype development and testing, making design modifications as required.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a CAD Design Engineer being involved with new product design.

* Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software).

* Good understanding of mechanical design principles, materials and manufacturing processes.

* Experience in producing technical drawings and engineering documentation.

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

* Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
