Venn Group Software Test Engineer BPSS Clearance 12-Month Contract Hybrid working in Hampshire£50-£60 per hour (Inside IR35, Umbrella)

Our market leading client require a Software Test Engineer to join them on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software aspects to support the test of satellite products based on SDR (Software Defined Radio) technologies
• Implementation, V&V  and definition activities with the solutions
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team containing software, system, firmware and infrastructure engineers
• Test software aspects of the modem products and communications systems using software and subsystem integration testing with complex systems

Skills Required:

• Must have experience of unit and integration test tools – ideally Robot Framework, or, GoogleTest/Catch22
• Hands-on Linux experience in an embedded environment
• Hands-on Test Engineer who has the ability to implement and architect test’s
• Experience in Enterprise Architect

Desirable:

• C++ experience would be helpful for this role as this is the main code used
• Experience of SysML/UML
• Experience of Jenkins configuration and administration
