Our client operates in the MMC (modern methods of construction) side of the UK construction industry and has several innovative products that are aimed towards the residential construction and homebuilding sector

Through the continued development of their business, they are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Fitter for their plant in Tallington.

The role will suit someone who has equipment and heavy vehicle maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a great role with a fast-growing company who is focused on excellence, quality and efficiency.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment at our client's manufacturing facility, this will include:

• Management of forklifts to ensure they are ready for use daily
• Weekly checks on Class 1 lorries
• Weekly checks on Class 2 cement mixer lorries
• Maintenance on EPS moulding manufacturing plant
• Maintenance on steel cutting machines
• Quality control record-keeping
• Maintenance plans and schedules for all plant
• Preparation of maintenance for beds and moulds
• Dealing with suppliers of machinery parts
• Producing maintenance reports for management review
• Building good relationships with all staff members
• Working on infrastructure and development projects
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
• Producing maintenance reports for management review (basic IT and Microsoft skills)
