Plumber & Leak Detection Engineer
Location: South areas of Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, and Cheshunt (Postcode areas: EN, WD, HP, AL, SL9)
Salary: £31,000 - £34,000 per year (OTE up to £50,000)

EFE Personnel is acting as an employment business, recruiting on behalf of our client. We are seeking experienced Plumbers & Leak Detection Engineers to join a professional and customer-focused team. This role involves carrying out a range of plumbing services, including reactive maintenance and repairs, for both domestic and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate, diagnose, and repair plumbing issues in residential and commercial premises.
Carry out all types of plumbing work, including tap replacements, cistern repairs, stopcock changes, installing cylinders, cold water storage tanks, showers, pumps, tiling, basic carpentry, and some plastering/patch work.
Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety and quality procedures.
Accurately record work details via internal and client systems.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery.
Be flexible with working hours, including participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (6089/6129) or City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Plumbing.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the plumbing industry.
Full UK driving license.
Ability to provide copies of all relevant training certificates.
Willingness to undergo a DBS (CRB) check and financial screening upon successful application.
