Property Litigation Solicitor 

Location: Hertfordshire (easily commutable from St. Albans, Waltham Abbey, Welwyn Garden City and Edgware)

The firm: They are a forward-thinking law firm with a passion for delivering exceptional legal services. They are currently seeking a talented and driven Litigation Solicitor to join their dynamic team.

The Role: As a Litigation Solicitor, you will handle a diverse caseload and provide expert legal advice on a range of contentious matters. You will represent clients in court and be responsible for managing all phases of the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of litigation cases, including commercial, civil, and property disputes.
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and briefs with precision and clarity.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations and arbitrations.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in litigation.
  • Strong academic background and excellent technical legal skills.
  • Must be fully conversant with the CPR in the county court and the high court 
  • Must have experience of claims in both courts both for the claimant and the defendant
  • Needs to be commercially minded with the ability to manage and organise a busy caseload 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation cases, including commercial property, leases, forfeiture, dilapidations, adverse possession, squatters' actions and general contract claims and disputes.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
