A well-established accountancy firm in Abingdon is on the lookout for a Payroll Supervisor to join their growing payroll department. If you thrive in a deadline-driven environment, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working closely with clients, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You'll Be Doing: - Managing payroll and CIS for a portfolio of clients
- Ensuring accurate and timely BACS payments, RTI, and Auto-Enrolment submissions
- Handling pension contributions, holiday pay, SSP, SMP, and other schemes
- Building strong relationships with clients and resolving payroll queries
- Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and improving processes where needed
What We're Looking For: - Experience processing payroll and CIS for multiple clients (weekly/fortnightly/monthly)
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Knowledge of Pegasus Opera, SAGE, and Xero Payroll is a plus
- A proactive and confident communicator who enjoys working with clients
- A team player who thrives under deadlines
