A leading FM Client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our Mobile
Technical Services team in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. This role is essential in delivering outstanding service to our FM commercial contracts and ensuring a comfortable environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
● Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with maintenance specifications, documenting all activities in real-time using a PDA.
● Complete all relevant paperwork regarding PPM, reactive, and breakdown works, ensuring timely submission to the contract administrator.
● Update the customer's CAFM system with work completion details and notify of any follow-on tasks required.
● Address reactive tasks promptly and proactively identify areas for improvement.
● Remedy plant faults and defects quickly to maintain serviceability in accordance with delegated authority.
● Ensure availability of suitable spares for maintenance and reactive tasks.
● Conduct Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA) before commencing work and highlight safety concerns through the AIMS system.
● Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments to ensure safe working practices.
● Maintain a clean and safe working environment, wearing uniform and PPE as required.
● Operate a Permit to Work System following Technical and SHEQ processes and client requirements.
● Attend breakdowns and failures outside of normal working hours, participating in the regional on-call rota.
● Conduct regular audits of tools and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:
● Recognised industry qualification and previous experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair.
● Essential: FGas certification.
● Trade qualification as an AC Engineer with post-apprenticeship experience is desirable.
● Full clean driver's license.
● Knowledge of Legionella and Asbestos (training can be provided).
● Basic knowledge of building fabric repairs and operation of BMS.

● Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
● Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
● Flexible and adaptable to change, with a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance.
● Physically fit and fluent in English (both written and oral).
