About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to manage the procurement of materials, handle supplier relationships, and support the company's production needs. Your role will involve sourcing key materials, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely, quality supply to keep operations running smoothly. Familiarity with subcontract manufacturing and engineering services would be a strong asset.

In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with internal teams and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support both immediate and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials for production in a manufacturing setting
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, lead times, and product quality
- Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to ensure reliable performance and delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production and engineering, to align procurement processes with operational goals
- Support the procurement of subcontract manufacturing and engineering services as needed
- Drive continuous improvement in the procurement process to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers to support growth and innovation

About You:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a purchasing or buying role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with subcontract manufacturing and engineering services is beneficial
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost-effective agreements
- Skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and internal partners
- Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively and manage multiple responsibilities
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on adding value and supporting business success
