Role:

An opportunity has come available for a Telecoms Construction Manager to work on a nuclear new build project in Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage the Telecoms work which consists of private radio, public mobile networks and fibre across the whole main development site.

Engage with key Telecoms stakeholders such as Vodafone, BT and private radio contractors.

Ensure deadlines a timescales are met on all telecoms work packages.
You will be overseeing the project delivery for installing new infrastructure, on site quality checks of workmanship, and operations for the installed infrastructure.

Play a vital role in resolving technical radio and fibre issues, risk mitigation, change management maintaining high standard of compliance with Sizewell C standards.

Responsible for effective coordination with Utilities Construction teams, including Design, Temporary Works, and Consents Managers, to ensure compliance with DCO and best practices.

Lead the management of change control through established processes, participating in the design change review process as needed.

Essential Requirements:

In-depth knowledge and experience of managing telecoms projects including fibre, private radio and public mobile operators.

Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project or Construction Management, or a related field.

Prior experience in major programme/projects.
