As a Design Manager you'll be responsible for…

Tender stage responsibilities -

Attend the launch meeting with the estimator and planner
Review the tender documentation in terms of design requirements
Liaise with consultants / design parties
Identify opportunities for value engineering
Summarise risk items that may require qualification/investigation
Contract Stage-

Review of the tender information package
Prepare and issue Information Release schedule to the construction team
In accordance with Lean Principles, issue information release schedule to designers and sub-contractors.
Prepare and formalise the appointment of the designers.
Review of the quotations received for the subcontract packages and provide feedback to the construction teams from a design perspective.

Must haves:

HNC/HND/Degree in Construction Management/Architecture
