Job Title: Service Engineer

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Fridays 7:30 am to 1:30 pm
Salary: £41,500 - £43,000

Occasional travel required within the UK and abroad

Job Overview:

A dedicated and skilled Service Engineer is needed to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure optimal performance and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Commissioning:

* Install and configure equipment at client sites.

* Ensure systems are fully operational before handover.

Maintenance and Repairs:

* Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues.

* Diagnose and repair equipment failures promptly.

Customer Support:

* Provide on-site and remote support to clients.

* Train clients on equipment use and maintenance.

Documentation:

* Maintain accurate records of service activities and client interactions.

* Prepare reports on equipment status and service history.

Collaboration:

* Work with the engineering team to improve product performance and reliability.

* Provide feedback on product issues and potential enhancements.

Qualifications:

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

* 2-5 years of experience in a service or technical support role.

* Experience in a relevant industry or technology (e.g., HVAC, IT) is a plus.

Skills:

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Certifications:

* Relevant certifications such as Electrical License, HVAC Certification, etc.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.

* Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
