We are looking for an Acoustic Consultant to join one of the UK's leading independent acoustic engineering consultancies in their Brighton office. The consultancy is involved in a wide range of projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, sports, and healthcare. With a team of expert noise and vibration specialists, they are trusted to work on some of the most exciting and prestigious projects across the UK.
The main duties of the Acoustic Consultant role include conducting noise and vibration testing, as well as sound insulation testing and modelling. The successful consultant will also provide remedial advice to clients to ensure compliance with key British Standards and regulatory legislation. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders on-site to ensure that all project deliverables are met to a high standard.

To be considered for the Acoustic Consultant role, candidates should hold a BSc or MSc in Acoustic Engineering or a related field, along with membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA). The ideal candidate will have experience working on-site, undertaking noise modelling and testing, and will be able to demonstrate transferable skills across various projects and sectors. A valid driver's licence and proximity to or commutable distance from the Brighton office are also prerequisites for this role.
