Location: Flexible Depots in Lancashire/Yorkshire/West MidlandsSalary: £70,000.00 + car + bonusSummary:You will oversee the operational performance of the regional tanker fleet in the northern region containing 3 depots. You will align strategies and work closely with senior stakeholders to support continued growth. The role will also require you to drive technical innovation, driver and planner training, legal governance, provide KPI and MI, fleet specification and planning and routing developments.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and monitor the performance of 3 Tanker depots to ensure high operational standards
- Review, initiate and implement continuous improvement
- Oversee the operational performance of the Tanker fleet and support organic expansion
- Manage the P&L of 3 depots
- Mentor and support a team and champion a customer centric mindset
- Maintain a steadfast focus on H&S and ensure strict adherence to all company policies and standards
Experience:
- Proven track record of managing P&L and growth
- National and International CPC qualification
- Expertise in tenders, costings and project management
- Proficiency with route planning software
- Familiarity with tanker operations and chemical compatibility
- Understanding of transport and DGSA legislation
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification preferred
- Experience in waste industry preferred
