1:1 Teaching Assistant - Brinnington, Stockport

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with complex needs? A Primary School in the Brinnington area of Stockport is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a child who requires specialised support.

The Role:

Working 1:1 with a child with complex needs
Supporting their learning, development, and emotional well-being
Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategiesIdeal Candidate:

Previous experience working with children with SEND or complex needs
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (beneficial but not essential)
Team Teach training (advantageous but not required)
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to managing challenging behaviourThis is a rewarding full-time, long-term position for someone passionate about making a difference in a child's life.
