Behaviour Support Assistant - Stretford (M32)

Teaching Personnel are seeking an empathetic Behaviour Support Assistant to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is in a SEN and SEMH Primary school in Streford. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a key role in providing essential support to low-needs pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have a positive and accessible learning experience.

Responsibilities:

Support with a range of Special Educational Needs.
Implement behaviour management strategies.
Work closely with teachers and the school's SENCO to develop individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils achieve their learning goals.
Maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
Encourage pupils' social and emotional development.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with pupils with SEN.
Ability to engage and support pupils effectively.
Psychology graduates or individuals with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
