Apricus Resourcing are on the lookout for dedicated, experienced Speech Language Therapist for a long term, hybrid (4 days WFH) role based in Salisbury.

The role is based with an award winning healthcare supplier who have numerous years experience of supporting and delivering high quality nursing care for services throughout the UK. Due to their success they are now looking to expand their SLT team.

Within your role you will be working with children who have a range of special educational needs. You'll be working with early years and school aged children within their educational settings as part of a wider SEND team who are based in Salisbury. The SEND team works to support the therapy needs of children with education and health care plans as a result of their needs/speech language/communication difficulties. You will be working with other professionals in settings goals and providing therapy plans to integrate within their daily plan. This includes annual review meetings, updating reports, liaising with parents/carers and providing training.

The team are looking for candidates who are:

* Able to review referrals for autism and telephone the families to gather more information

* Able to decide on assessment pathway depending on information gathered

* Able to give advice and support to families

* Able to use ADOS assessment and observational assessment to inform multidisciplinary assessment

Requirements

* A willingness to make a difference to communication for the students on your caseload

* Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team ethic

* Good organisational and time management skills

* A registered member of the HCPC with a certificate to practice

* Strong, up to date skills/knowledge of working with children

* At least 12 months experience working as SLT

The location is based at Salisbury, Wiltshire and you'll need to be able to come in at least once a week to work face to face. Candidates don't need own car as long as they can get to one of the hubs at least once a week.
