Power BI Senior Consultant - Contract - 6 months - OUTSIDE iR35

83DATA are partnered with a multi-billion pound manufacturing company with who are looking to bring on a Power BI Senior Consultant on an inital 6-month contract who has a passion for Data and Insights. They are currently on a mission to transform their business, leveraging information and agile delivery methods to drive efficiency across all modes of operation and will be in charge of running their home-built system.

As a Power BI Senior Consultant , you will attend internal and external meetings to gather requirements, design and develop data visualisations that effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. You will be required to analyse an existing system and look to build out documentation around feeds / mapping etc while also maintaining this critical systems.

Skills and responsibilities:

• Extensive experience using Microsoft PowerBI visualisation tool
• Extensive experience of SQL programming skills
• Experience developing data visualisation solutions
• Documentation Excellence - producing comprehensive documentation including project plans, data mappings, and user guides to ensure clear communication and maintain data governance.
• Work with Internal/external teams to develop data dashboards from requirements.
• Create Data Visualisation Strategy based on requirements whilst liaising with management and stakeholders.
• Make recommendations regarding visualisations optimisation, implementation, testing.
• Define and uphold design standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Strong communication and analytical thinking
