Project Engineer
Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level with a leading MEICA contractor in the Water, Wastewater, Oil, and Gas sectors? My client is seeking a talented Project Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering Site Services team. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering innovative engineering solutions, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently from start to finish.
Project Engineer Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the mechanical engineering field, ideally in the water sector or construction.
* Familiarity with construction regulations such as CDM and LOLER.
* Strong commercial acumen, with experience in project forecasting and change management.
* Proven ability to create RAMS and manage project timelines effectively.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer interaction.
* Residing within the Southeast London/West Kent region and holding a valid driving licence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
* Understand and manage the commercial and contractual aspects of each project.
* Conduct site surveys and scope work to support the preparation of service quotations.
* Collaborate with the sales team to enhance project opportunities.
* Regularly update stakeholders on project status and progress to facilitate accurate forecasting.
* Engage with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing regular updates on project developments.
* Attend site meetings and perform inspections as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) in collaboration with H&S staff.
