A Civil Engineering Consultancy based in Hampshire have an opportunity for a Senior Transport Planner to join their growing team. The role benefits from a competitive starting salary from £45k, plus bonus and many other benefits.

As Senior Transport Planner, you will be responsible for producing technical reports and technical drawings, in accordance with various policies and government bodies. Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of transport assessments, transport statements and travel plans.
• Preparing and presenting technical data and drawings.
• Performing junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and local/national authorities.
• Supporting Team Leaders in the delivery of advice to clients on Highway & Transport matters.
• Undertaking site appraisals/visits and designing surveys.

The key skills required for the Senior Transport Planner will be:

• Degree in a relevant subject, such as Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering.
• Understanding / experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes.
• Excellent numeracy skills, alongside a good understanding of spreadsheets.
• Working knowledge / experience of ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG.
• Experience of AutoCAD would be preferable.
