Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Officer to join our team on a temporary contract. You will be responsible for interacting with all customers on social media and review site comments for all lines if business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support to customers on public forums

* Investigate any issues raised ensuring an excellent service is delivered to retain the customer

* Monitor social media activity and respond to customer queries and feedback.

* Promote and maintain high standards of communication in line with Omnichannel Customer Support and brand guidelines for both verbal and written communication.

* Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver cohesive social media strategies.

* Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and tools.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in social media management, ideally within a retail or FMCG environment.

* Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.

* Excellent communication and creative writing skills.

* Ability to analyse data and adapt strategies for continuous improvement.

* Good problem solving skills

* Previous experience in a similar role essential
