Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a permanent Senior Mechanical Estimator for our client who operate in the MEICA sector. The role is based in Warrington.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create and manage Supplier and Subcontractor enquiries and appraisals

* Coordinate with all departments for tendering and finalise tenders for presentation and submission (materials, labour, plant, accommodation requirements, etc)

* Attend meetings and conduct reviews of contract documents, tender and post contract queries

* Mentor junior estimating team

* Monitor tender/ proposal methods

Requirements:

* HNC, ONC or equivalent in relevant discipline

* Experience in estimating in MEICA sector within industries such as pharmaceuticals and nuclear.

* Good working knowledge of current estimating and commercial practices

* Good knowledge of engineering and project managing practices

* High level of competency in English Language and numerical/ computer literacy
