Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) team at Quality Care Cover. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills in a fast-paced environment. As an ITU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

* Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ITU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.

* Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on their specific needs.

* Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.

* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and responses.

* Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in critical care nursing.

* Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

* Valid registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

* Proven experience in an ITU or critical care setting is preferred but not mandatory.

* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.

* Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care under pressure.

* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

* Flexible and reliable with a professional attitude.

Days: £22 P/H

Nights & Saturdays: £27

Sundays 7 Bank Holidays: £33
