We are recruiting for an experienced Key Account Manager to join a market-leading organisation within the Building Materials sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to take ownership of major retail and DIY accounts such as B&Q and Wickes, ensuring the continued success and growth of these key partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

* - Take full responsibility for managing and developing relationships with major retail and DIY accounts, including B&Q, Wickes, and similar.

* - Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of these high-profile accounts, ensuring product availability, promotion, and smooth service delivery.

* - Identify opportunities to drive sales and grow revenue within existing accounts by understanding client needs and market trends.

* - Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise business potential and meet performance targets.

* - Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and building long-term partnerships.

* - Monitor and analyse sales data to assess account performance and proactively address any issues or challenges.

* - Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure the successful execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives.

Requirements:

* - Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, ideally within the retail or DIY sector.

* - Strong understanding of the DIY and retail landscape, with experience working with major retailers such as B&Q, Wickes, or similar.

* - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

* - Strong commercial acumen, with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify growth opportunities.

* - Highly data-driven, with the ability to analyse complex data sets to make informed business decisions and optimise account performance.

* - Proficient in using data analysis tools and software to monitor key performance metrics.

* - Ability to work independently in a hybrid role, managing time effectively between office-based work and customer visits.

* - Full UK driving licence.
