At Z-Tech we have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager to join us, with the opportunity to work across our portfolio of MEICA capital and capital maintenance schemes in the Water and Energy sectors, to provide effective programme and contractual management with complete visibility of the progress & associated risks to ourselves and our clients.

In this role you will be the lead on delivering strategic programme to support our project delivery outcomes in line with each contract. You'll manage effective connections with our Operations Managers & their teams and our customers to ensure control via programme management for early identification of deviation from plans in terms of delivery/construction plan for dates & costs at both project & programme level. Providing timely & rigorous reporting of projects and programmes from inception to completion to generate lead & lag indicators of performance in delivery.

You will be responsible for leading governance groups, reporting at senior level and ensuring that programmes of work and targets are measured accordingly against cost, benefit, performance, efficiencies, delivery and timescales. You will be accountable for identifying and managing risks, assuring delivery of work, whilst resolving conflicts and ensuring that the appropriate mitigation measures are identified and implemented. You will have fantastic communication skills and engage with stakeholders on specific business priorities and investments, overall driving delivery of the overarching strategy and vision to be realised. 

What will you'll be doing?

Ownership of project specific inter-departmental reporting across the programmes and projects.
P&L responsibility, managing and recording cost & sales for the projects and programmes under your leadership
Contracts management of projects and programmes under your leadership
Cost approval to a designated level
Line management of internal resource including training and PDR's
Management of external resource
Interdepartmental liaison with Finance, Commercial, SHEQ & HR
Reporting of progress and performance to the Operations Manager's and Senior Management Team
Line Management and Mentoring of Project Managers.
Liaison directly with the customer reporting on progress and dealing with commercial issuesSkills & Knowledge Requirements:

Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and a familiarity with the Internet in order to be self-sufficient with all manner of IT based tasks (Electrical Reports and Employee HR Services)
 Experience in the management and delivery of complicated large volume roll out programmes and projects
Commercial abilities from a financial and contractual perspective (e.g. NEC, IChemE, JCT, etc.)
Hands on systems experience in both operations and commercial areas
Working in accordance with the company and customer safe systems of work and permit to work systems.Key Attributes:
