What Are We Looking For?

Greenacre Environmental Systems is looking to grow our in-house Design team with the addition of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis in our Dewsbury office. This is a fantastic opportunity to support in all aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist SME with an impressive order book who have the backing and support of a national business.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

* Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implantation.

* Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards.

* Develop design deliverables.

* Complete checking and approval processes.

* Arrange procurement of goods and services.

* Prepare work scope estimates/quotations.

* Assemble contract works information documents.

* Consider project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters.

* Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects.

* Implement project change control and programme requirements.

* Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects.

What Do You Need?

* Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

* Experience of working at all design stages is highly desirable.

* Understanding of plastics and related materials

* Design management experience is highly desirable.

* Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.

* Full UK Driving Licence
