SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of caring and vibrant 1- form entry school in the heart of Chiswick- a small school with a big heart! The school is located just a short stroll down the River Thames and has good transport links.

The school is looking for a confident and committed teaching assistant who is experienced with Autism to join their close- knit school community.

The role will be to support a boy in year 1 with Autism. The child can communicate verbally and has been making good progress socially and communicate wise.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support for a child with Autism
Work with the class teacher to adapt learning materials to meet the needs of the child
Monitor the progress of the child and provide regular feedback to the class teacher
Carry out other teaching assistant duties as required

Requirements:

Experience working in a primary school or with children, preferably as a teaching assistant
Experience supporting children with special needs/autism is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
A passion for working with children
