You will provide a proactive and flexible range of ward/clinical administration services by providing relevant and appropriate ward-based support, driving best practice and ensuring compliance with company procedures and documented policies.

Your responsibilities will include but, not limited to:

  • Provide clinical administration and an efficient support service as required such as updating and maintaining accurate patient information, answering telephone calls, taking messages, communicating effectively and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality of all written and verbal communication.
  • Provide administrative support to the Ward Manager in assisting with all aspects of student nurse placement at the hospital.
  • Prepare new patient folders in preparation for admission ensuring all relevant documentation is included.
  • Add all new admissions to Carenotes, electronic patient records system, on the day of admission as required by head office.
  • Maintain the patient folders on the wards ensuring that all documentation is filed accurately.
  • General administration duties such as photocopying, filing, archiving, scanning.
  • To provide efficient support to the ward on a weekly basis, working in collaboration with the Medical Secretary and ward staff to ensure the ward offices are kept in a tidy manner and helping to support the smooth running of the service.
  • Become part of the Wellbeing team.
  • Ensure noticeboards are kept up to date on all floors.
  • Ensuring patient files in their rooms are present and up to date.
  • Updating staff internal documentation including but not limited to Supervision Matrix, Supervision Tree, Extension lists.
  • Provide administrative support in Community Meetings with patients and team meetings with staff
To be a Successful Clinical Administrator you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to display professional conduct at all times.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and diligence are displayed in the accomplishment of all assigned duties with a minimum of direct supervision.
  • Ability to prioritise duties and responsibilities
  • GCSE certificate, Grade C or above in English & Mathematics, or equivalent (Essential)

Cotswold Spa is a specialist eating disorder service located in Broadway, Worcestershire for young people aged between 13 and 25 years which offers both inpatient and day patient treatment programmes.

 

The hospital is situated in the picturesque village of Broadway, Worcestershire, close to the Cotswold Way. The area boasts natural beauty with Cheltenham to the South and Warwick to the North.

 

The service is for young people of all genders with an eating disorder, predominantly:

• Anorexia Nervosa

• Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder

 

The hospital has been specifically designed with the adolescent and young adult in mind. The interior design of the hospital is both contemporary and comfortable incorporating young people's art.
